Substitute for Intro to Art classes!

As a way to provide clarity to the day's lesson, I always project the lesson plan or goals onto the board. I explain each point (as opposed to writing down all the information) as I want them to actually read what is written which seems to be, "The shorter, the better." For extra art-oompah, I try to incorporate a stimulating visual image if the opportunity arises to spark a discussion. The students in the Intro to Art classes are doing a magazine cutout/painting project which reminds me of the work of James Rosenquist, particularly F-111.
